How does booking work?
Click the “Book” button from any page and select a picnic package that includes your number of guests. There are packages you can choose from: Essential, Luxury, Custom Birthday Celebration, Gender Reveal, and Kiddie Celebration packages. Select your add ons Need a table? Custom Cookies for you birthday? Simply check the box to add to your package you want. Enter your payment detail and complete your booking. You should receive your booking confirmation with the location details. Park location in the West Loop of Chicago. Park Name Artists Monument.
Show up for your picnic at your scheduled time.
Will the Picnic Specialist contact me before arriving to my In-Home setup?
After you’ve received your booking confirmation, a Picnic Specialist will contact you (day of event) & arrive 1 hour prior to your picnic start time to setup your picnic experience.
What happens if I show up late?
Your picnic starts at the scheduled time you selected during your booking. We understand life isn’t perfect, so we give a 10 min grace period.
Do we have to clean up when we are done?
No. Our team will setup your picnic and clean up.
Can we leave prior to our scheduled end time?
Yes. Please provide us with a 30 min notice via phone call or text message. You are responsible for all picnic items until we are able to return and pack up.
What if it rains?
If the forecast predicts a 50% chance of rain or more on the day of the event, then we provide an opportunity to reschedule the picnic. In the case you prefer taking the risk to proceed with your scheduled picnic, we ask that you sign a waiver stating you acknowledge the chance of rain and accept that there will be NO REFUNDS in that case.
Can I choose the style of picnic I desire?
Unfortunately, no. Our team has an eye for detail and an appreciation for styling. We strive to make every picnic picture perfect. If you have colors you desire or suggestions, please email them to us at info@picnicsinthechi.com and we will try to incorporate them in our setup but this is not guaranteed. Please include your name, phone number, email, party size, date of event and your desired adjustments. All flowers are seasonal and hand selected by our team.
How are all utensils, cups, etc. sterilized?
All utensils and cups are sterilized by employees with gloves on. They are thoroughly washed with warm water and soap in order to ensure cleanliness. Gloves will be worn at all times.

We provide a location in the West Loop (Chicago) area.

Is alcohol consumption allowed during the picnic?
Chicago's Municipal Code prohibits bringing alcohol into any public park. No alcohol is allowed to be consumed during your picnic experience.
